Hearts are having quite a poor season but one thing we can be sure of is that they will be fired up for this Edinburgh derby and desperate to put end to Hibs excellent run of form.
We seen Laszlo at his very best a couple of weeks back as he pulled off an amazing win at Celtic park in the league cup. No one gave them a chance but his tactics were bang on. They defended superbly and in the end probably deserved to sneak the win. If this Hearts side can win at Celtic then they can raise their game and beat any spl side.
Hibs sit second and Hughes is doing a fine job. I think its fair to say Hibs have been a little lucky in some games but they are playing nice football and clearly fancy their chances of splitting the old firm this season.
Going forward the Hibees look very strong, Stokes has been a fine signing and Riorden is on the kind of form that earned the big money move to Celtic 4 years ago. But i dont rate that Hibs defence. Every time i see them they look suspect from cross balls and the back 4 never seem to push up together for offside. There is also a problem with the keeper position. They have used Stack recently- he has the gloves at the moment.Ma-Kalambay may well come in for this one being the more experienced keeper but neither has looked all that confident.
This is going to a battle from start to finish and it if is i believe that suits Hearts. Maybe they are not the most skilful of the 2 sides but in defence the Jambos are stronger and if we see a physical battle they have the edge. Its going to be low scoring but i have a feeling we will see Hearts raise their game and take the points simply because their need is greater. Laszlo is very strong tactially and Hearts do the more experienced side in terms of these derby fixtures.

And finally, my 10/10 over of the day, perhaps it will be a surprise to many of you, but my feeling tells me, we will see goals here.

Just look at statistics, 7 last games ended as unders between these two and that gave bookies confidence to give us great odds.

But, at the moment, we have one team flying: Hibs are scoring freely, they are second on the table and managed to stay unbeaten even on Ibrox lately! They always scored at least once in last 7 games, in two games they scored 3 goals, in two they scored twice, in other they scored at least once!

On the other side, we have an out of form Hearts, who must win this one and will also play an open game. Their streaks are erratic, they had 4 overs in a row a month ago and now they had 4 unders. But Hearts are also scoring in almost every game!

So, this is a typical both to score game, a draw, 2-2 perhaps?

I have to take this one before odds will drop. Gaz in decent form even though they didn't win in last four rounds, but have been some good results for them - draw with Bistrita which is in a good form, FC Brasov, Pandurii and Unirea Urziceni and now they are looking for a win. On the other hand, Poli Iasi with serious problems at the moment as they lost four consecutive matches, the coach Grigoras has a lot on unavailabe players for today match - Milea, Nuno Viveiros, Vali Negru, Ignatov, Buta, Frunza, Criotoru, Pecnik, Bersnjak are all missing. Also Gaz has some banned players, Eric and Nohai but however they are a better team with current conditions. 1.78 seems good, SBObet has now 1.69 for home win.

Well, only three rounds left until the end of the season and Spartak Moskva are still figting for the title. 2008 champions Rubin are now only one point in front of Moskva team and for sure, Spartak are going to be very keen to keep their hopes alive.

On the other side, Krilja are now without any special motivation, they will finish the season in the midtable and this game has no special meaning to them. Also, we must consider quality difference between two teams which makes me sure, Spartak is going to collect three more points here!
