Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta has backed Amauri to open his account with a goal against Palermo on Sunday evening.</STRONG>
 
Amauri has yet to score in eight games this season and is under pressure to find the net at the ground where he made his name.</STRONG>
 
The 29-year-old Brazilian really established himself in two years with Palermo, scoring 23 goals in 52 appearances.</STRONG>
He left for Juventus in a £21m move last summer.</STRONG>
 
“I hope that Amauri can get himself off the mark. There are highs and lows for us strikers. He just needs to be calm and with a goal everything will resolve itself,” Iaquinta said.</STRONG>
 
The Italy international went on to explain Juventus' intentions this weekend.</STRONG>
 
“We are going to Palermo to get three points. We face every team with the objective of winning,” Iaquinta revealed.</STRONG>
 
Juventus currently lie second in Serie A, a point behind League leaders Sampdoria.</STRONG>
 
They have been accused of blowing the opportunity to open a convincing lead at the top of the table, after drawing their last three games in all competitions.
