performance propeled Phillies to win the World
Championship. This October 2008 Cy
Young award winner Cliff Lee
played the role of ACE pitcher when Hamels didn't continue his
magic like what he did last year. Lee is the most reliable pitcher
this postseason. Now nobody has wonder Manuel's decision to place
Lee to pitch game1 of NLDS.
His brilliant performance in
game3, 10 strickouts and 0
run in 8 innings, has impressed
us again. Only 24 hits and 2
runs was given in 24 1/3 innings in Lee's three
games.
Phillies's sluggers was hot again. Ryan Howard's 7 consecutive
games RBI continued. Lee silenced Dodgers's batters all night.
Manny's two sinlges was nonsensical for
Dodges. Game4 will continue to start in Citizens Bank Park tomorrow. Randy Wolf will face Joe Blaton who will start his first game this postseason. ...阅读全文>> |
