据香港媒体报道，香港医管局在今天举行的记者会上表示，内地孕妇要凭香港母婴健康院，或者香港医生介绍信，到香港公立医院门诊预约，同时缴付三万九千元费用，之后取回收据及确认预约证明书，方便日后再入境。随后要再到门诊安排首次产前检查，以及预约下次产检，产检第二次起每次收费七百元。
内地孕妇入院分娩前，至少要完成一次产检，分娩时可以入住公立医院三日两夜。而未经预约突然到公立医院分娩的，就要缴付四万八千元。
香港特区政府有关部门本月十六日公布内地孕妇来港产子的系列新措施，其中包括要求怀孕约七个月的内地孕妇提供香港医院的预约诊症证明，否则可能拒绝她们入境，新措施将于今年二月一日生效。
