11月20日，2009年惠州国际温泉旅游节在惠州南昆山温泉大观园隆重开幕。国际休闲产业协会主席、原国家旅游局纪检组长王军，广东省副省长万庆良，广东省旅游局副局长王志红，市委副书记、市长李汝求，国内外有关知名旅游专家、学者，粤港澳部分旅行商家负责人，新闻媒体的朋友等800多人出席了开幕式。
