member who was previously general manager of Shanghai GM Dong Yue
Motors. Wang replaces Xun Yizhong, who was transferred to Shanghai Automotive Group Co. Ltd on Aug. 1. Xun helped with the joint venture project of Shanghai GM in 1995. After it was established in 1997, Xun became deputy director of Shanghai GM PT (power train) plant. He was later promoted to deputy general manager of Shanghai GM, and was also a member of the executive committee that played a key role in the building of the core business of Shanghai GM. Meanwhile, in 1995, Wang also worked in the department responsible for establishing cooperation projects for Shanghai GM. From 1997 to 2002, he acted as a senior manager in the Shanghai GM Department of planning and development, as well as Shanghai GM PT Department.
