The Italian international could move in an attempt to better his chances of playing in World Cup 2010, according to reports...

Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta is back on Zenit St Petersburg's radar, and the Russian club are set to try and sign him again this summer after missing out back in January.

Sportmediaset.it claims Dick Advocaat is still keen on landing the Italian international, and he could be tempted to make an offer. The report suggests Pavel Pogrebynyak is set to follow Andrey Arshavin to Arsenal, leaving space for Iaquinta to come in and replace him.

Iaquinta wants to play in World Cup 2010, but to do so he will need to play first team football on a regular basis. He is not guaranteed this at Juventus as Alessandro Del Piero, Amauri, and the eventual arrival of Diego will see he chances limited.

As a result, the former Udinese man may be tempted to move. The striker was close to joining Zenit during the winter transfer window, but Juve blocked the move as David Trezeguet was still injured, and they couldn't afford to lose another striker, despite a reported 10 million offer which was turned down, according to voices in Italy.

The report suggests a deal could take off this summer as Juve continue to plan ahead. The club may decide to cash in on Iaquinta, in order to provision funds for a new defender.
