墨斗鱼饭是使用了墨斗鱼的北海道函馆地方的本地特色菜。首先取下墨鱼腿，除去了墨斗鱼的内脏后把事先洗好的米填入墨斗鱼的身体内，用牙签封好防止米饭流出。放到用以酱油为主的汤料里煮熟。加入内脏的材料除了大米以外将取下的墨斗鱼腿切碎后和应季的蔬菜一起放到墨斗鱼身体里也是一举两得啊。
