With the rapid development of new energy vehicles, high-voltage harness is like the aorta of vehicles. According to the shielding type, the high-voltage harness can be divided into shielding type and non shielding type. The shielding type harness avoids the interference of the interference signal entering the inner conductor and reduces the loss of the transmission signal. Therefore, the shielding wire is widely used by new energy vehicles. The so-called "shielding" in cable structure is essentially a measure to improve the distribution of electric field. The cable conductor is twisted by multiple conductors. It is easy to form an air gap between it and the insulating layer. The surface of the conductor is not smooth, which will cause the concentration of electric field. Add a shielding layer of semiconductor electrical material on the surface of the conductor.




When the high-voltage shielding wire is connected with metal, plastic connectors and copper terminals, the shielding net needs to be cut. At present, when many new energy vehicle high-voltage harness manufacturers cut the shielding net, most manufacturers often cut it manually by traditional methods, which is not only inefficient, but also difficult to ensure the quality. In order to improve the efficiency and quality assurance, an automatic integrated equipment integrating the three processes of peeling the outer insulating skin, cutting the shielding net and peeling the inner insulating skin is not considered as the inner insulating skin, with fast efficiency and high precision, so as to ensure the efficiency and quality of the product.




The high-voltage connector and high-voltage harness play the role of transmitting electric energy in the new energy vehicle. The high-voltage harness is the main artery connecting the three major electricity (battery, electronic control and motor) of the whole vehicle, and the high-voltage connector is the interface at both ends of the main artery, which is used to realize the rapid conduction and shutdown of the whole connecting circuit.

Low smoke: Ph>4.3, conductivity 60%

As a bridge connecting the pile and the vehicle, the performance of the charging pile cable is very important. In addition to the outdoor performance of basic cables such as insulation and flame retardant, the overall hardness of the cable should not be too high because it should be bent frequently. The so-called charging pile cable material generally refers to elastomer related materials, which are used for insulating layer and sheath layer. Material performance requirements include oil resistance, tear resistance, weather resistance, chemical resistance, high and low temperature resistance and softness. At present, TPU, TPE and PVC Elastomer are the mainstream. The following briefly introduces the characteristics and differences between TPU and TPE.




The English name of TPU is the abbreviation of thermoplastic polyurethane, which means thermoplastic polyurethane. It is characterized by high strength and good wear resistance, which can not be replaced by other TPE materials. The wear resistance and strength of TPU are much better than TPE, but the hand feel is not as good as TPE. At present, the softest hardness of TPU is about more than 55A. The main characteristics of TPU are: a wide range of hardness, and with the increase of hardness, its products still maintain good elasticity and wear resistance, high mechanical strength, outstanding cold resistance, good processing performance, oil resistance, water resistance, mold resistance and good recycling. The elastic loss of TPE is larger than that of TPU under high hardness.




TPE English name is the abbreviation of thermoplastic elastomer, which means thermoplastic elastomer. It is a kind of special functional materials with plastic plasticity and rubber elasticity. Thermoplastic elastomer TPE has the characteristics of high elasticity, high strength and high resilience of rubber, as well as injection molding processing. It has the characteristics of environmental protection, non-toxic and safety, wide hardness range, excellent coloring, soft touch, weather resistance, fatigue resistance and temperature resistance. It can be recycled and reduced cost.




TPE material based on SEBS can improve the flame retardancy by adding a large amount of inorganic flame retardants. At the same time, it is prone to low strength, easy precipitation, poor resilience, poor weather resistance and fatigue resistance, dripping and large smoke in combustion. The reduction of these comprehensive properties affects the service life and operation safety of the products, and limits the application of low smoke halogen-free flame retardant TPE materials in the field of electronic and electrical connecting wires, especially the materials for new energy charging pile cables.




At present, most of the insulation and protection materials of automobile harness with temperature grade of 105 ℃ and below are PVC materials. PVC materials for domestic automobile harness often have some disadvantages, such as poor extrusion surface and poor low-temperature performance. In view of this, combined with the special environment (such as narrow space, poor heat dissipation, frequent mutual friction, etc.) and special requirements (thin wall, high-speed extrusion, etc.) and cost control requirements of automobile harness, it is necessary to study the PVC material used for automobile harness and further improve its performance.




With the continuous enhancement of people's awareness of environmental protection, EU Rosh standards, reach regulations and other relevant environmental protection regulations have been gradually implemented in the electronic and electrical fields. Thermoplastic flame retardant, safe and clean wires and cables must be used in many occasions, and TPE halogen-free flame retardant cable material with plastic and rubber characteristics has become the focus of research and development.
